Thorogood 804-4378 – Oil-tanning gives this brown trail leather a distressed look. Oiled leather is more wear- and water-resistant than ordinary leather.
The dual-density, ultra shock absorption footbeds absorb force from above and also below to cushion your feet every time you step down. Remove the footbeds for easy cleaning any time. The Poron 4000 comfort cushion foam insoles give your steps lightweight, airy support.
The outsoles are attached through tough Goodyear Storm welt construction. The soles are glued directly to the midsoles for weather-resistant bonds, then a thin strip of leather or fabric is placed against these bonds. Waxed thread goes through the welt to further strengthen the bonds and create this tough construction technique. The lightweight polyurethane outsoles help your steps resist shock.
The soles are resistant to heat, oil, and slipping. That means they withstand corrosion and help you maintain firm traction. The soles meet electrical shock resistance standards.
